Review of Oliver & Company (1988) by Roxpalermo G — 05 Jul 2009
Animation, in general, has been stereotyped as kid's movies. Oliver & Company does the stereotype well.
It has great music, lovable characters, and fun humor. Unfortunately, the dialogue and the animation are substandard.
I first watched this when I was little. Growing up gives an entirely different perspective on things. I suddenly realized what was really going on in some of the scenes of the movie. As a kid's movie, the topic of Georgett's breeding should have been entirely avoided, in my opinion.
That being said, the greatest things about this video is it's humor and its music.
