Review of Oliver & Company (1988) by Jonathan G — 19 May 2012
An underrated Disney film. So much better than the Little Mermaid that came out shortly thereafter. Oliver and Company is about the value of friendship and teamwork. The 80s songs, in my mind, are great, and the story is cute.
Sadly, the Little Mermaid would come out shortly thereafter, a film about a spoiled brat who gets her wish, and Oliver and Company would be forgotten.
