Review of Oldboy (2013) by Matt H — 21 Apr 2014

I don't know whats happened to Spike Lee, but I hope he becomes good again. I can't see why he decided to do this remake, there's nothing here that stands out from the original. Why even do the classic hallway scene if you're just going to do it worse?? Brolin seems miscast, the whole relationship between his character and Elizabeth Olsen just felt so forced.

Also way to much spelling out of motivations at the end.
