Fascinating and unsettlingly creepy, Oldboy is based on a highly popular Korean thriller. I chose not to watch the thriller so that I could enjoy this version first. Many people felt the movie didn't live up to the original, but let this movie have its day.
Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen are fascinating, and Sharlto Copley is just creepy. It's a fascinating and deeply disturbed movie.
