Review of Oldboy (2013) by Cade H — 06 Mar 2015
OldBoy is a super interesting story about a man being kidnapped, framed for his wifes murder and the crazy things that ensue once he is released, 20 Years Later! The fight scenes are quick and fun (while also rather unrealistic like taking on 10 guys at once and winning) and watching the story unveil is great.
Josh Brolin does a great job and it gets super intense toward the end. There is one of the most shocking reveals I have ever seen in a movie and while some of it is disturbing it is all great entertainment.
I need to watch the original movie now but this remake was well worth my time and if you want to be shocked out of your seat, check this one out.
