Damn. I needed two viewings to appreciate this masterpiece. I love Chan-Wook Park, and this is definitely his ubiquitous, definitive magnum opus. A tale of betrayal and revenge and really gross things, this movie seriously kicks ass.
There are two kinds of people who won't like this movie: boring people and people I wouldn't like to be around. So a lot of people. This movie is great and it actually inspired me to take up self-defense classes.
So that's something.
