Well after avoiding every spoiler for eight years, I can say with full certainty that I didn't see that ending coming. Kind of like when I was eleven and rented The Crying Game because just I had liked Forest Whitaker in Good Morning, Vietnam.
Anyhow, aside from an unnecessarily disjointed first half, this is a pretty brilliant genre bender. Brian De Palma must be proud.
