Damn! That was intense. The ending would probably have Freud be very pleased with himself and saying, "I told you so!" :-).
It really is a very rough and intense ride with one hell of a shocking ending that wraps up the whole journey masterfully. It builds and builds and then hits you with a sucker punch. Very well done! Even if disturbing (and it could have ended well there), it still has a hopeful ending.
