Review of Oldboy (2003) by Sean W — 20 Jul 2014
I'm not going to say it's horrible, but it is way overrated. Yeah, sure the hammer scene is cool and the section where he is kept in the room is pretty good but everything after those scenes is just kind of dumb.
They style I guess is interesting to some but I found nothing exceptional about it. The romance gave nothing to the plot and the motivations for all of the characters, especially the villain are lacking.
