Once again I am let down by way too much hype about nothing. While the movie had some funny moments and decent deliveries, it just doesnt hold up to real classic comedies like Porkys, Spaceballs, Animal House, and so on.
The story held no surprises or moments that you simply cant believe they did that (you know what Im talking about), but stayed consistent from start to finish - consistent is not a compliment regarding a comedy.
Maybe I'm biased and its Farrel that I cant stant, but most of the main cast I think are hilarious in other movies - just not in this one.
So aside from a few giggles, I was not impressed. Yawn.
ACTING = ***.
STORY = ** (yawn).
PLOT = ** (done to death with a different tune).
EFFECTS = N/A.
OVERALL = ***.
* = YOU DIDNT EVEN TRY - SUCKTASTIC - HATED IT.
** = YOU TRIED, BUT DIDNT QUITE MAKE IT - DIDNT LIKE IT.
*** = AVERAGE - TOLERATED IT.
**** = GOOD JOB! YOU REALLY TRIED! - I LIKED IT.
***** = YOU ARE FREAKIN' AWESOME! - I LOVED IT.
