Review of Old School (2003) by Mimi S — 25 May 2013
This is another terrible movie aimed at drunken frat boys. This film was just stupid, boorish and immature. Luke Wilson plays a guy Mitch, whose girlfriend cheats on him so he moves out and rents a house near campus and with his pals (Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell) he sets up his own fraternity. This won't appeal to an more mature audience and if you like the party hard college lifestyle and if you're a frat boy or wanna be frat boy this is the film for you. I got pretty bored after the first twenty minutes after the guys are getting blind drunk and hooking up with slutty girls. I found this film too immature and idiotic for my liking. There's nothing that really sticks out about this film and Will Ferrell gets on my nerves. Nothing I really liked about this film, it's another grown men acting like boys type of movie.
Grade: E.
