A big step up for director Todd Phillips. However, he did o on after this movie to make the hugely popular "The Hangover" and the more recent "Due Date" So he is now sitting pretty.
Old School at it's time was very fresh. R rated movies were rare at the time, especially ones with gang-bang references, and topless girls in a baby-pool filled with KY Jelly. Old School is incredibly funny, but then again it's hard not to be a "funny movie" when Will Ferrell is involved.
