Review of Old School (2003) by Ryan V — 27 Mar 2012
Luke Wilson plays a regular guy who accidentally opens a frathouse when he discovers his wife having an affair. His idiot buddies, played by Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn, take this as an opportunity to relive their collegiate debauchery through hedonistic parties and overindulgent drinking.
This gets them in trouble with the vindictive dean (Jeremy Piven), and the guys have to pull together in order to save the academic careers of the students under their supervision. Old School is a willfully dumb movie, but its antics do have a few laughs here and there.
Those who come into it with reasonable expectations will find themselves reasonably entertained.
