Review of Old School (2003) by Jamison S — 17 May 2010
THE BEST: Will Ferrell's best movie to date. I'll take Frank the Tank over Ricky Bobby any day of the week. Every body in this film was good. Todd Phillips direction was excellent.
THE GOOD: The storyline was good and the film was actually funny. It's never too slapstick. The soundtrack was good as well.
THE BAD: The middle tends to lose it's humor.
THE UGLY: Will Ferrells Butt shoot. Lol. By the way, the streaking scene was my favorite scene in the film. " Hey honey, you think KFC still open?" Classic.
THE VERDICT: I loved Old School. I love all the characters. Todd Phillips is a good director that knows what funny is. A lot of the time you watch comedies and they tend to go into slapstick mode that they think is funny, but it's really not. "You're my boy Blue!".
