Review of Old Fashioned (2014) by Darryl P — 15 Feb 2015

This movie far exceeded my expectation, which wasn't particularly high, though I hoped to at least enjoy the story.

The story was extremely well done and I loved how things were tied together. Yes, it is Christian based, but I never felt it to be preachy, I can't imagine anyone being turned off by it unless they are a bigot.

I'll admit the acting wasn't always good, but for the most part it was good.

I always enjoy reading the critic's reviews and had to laugh at the comment by one saying the movie presume athe way to a woman's heart is just to give her flowers. If that's what the critic got from the movie, they weren't paying attention.
