Review of Old Dogs (2009) by Martin H — 30 May 2010
Passable comedy in which Travolta and Williams play Charlie and Dan, friends since childhood and now business partners close to closing a major deal with a Japanese company. One day a woman Dan was briefly married too after a drunken night night years ago shows up with 7 year old twins who she claims are his.
With Charlie roped into playing uncle chaos ensues as the two friends try to simulataneously mix work and bond with the kids. The movie is likable enough, but if you've seen the trailer you've seen the best parts.
Travolta's real life wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu play the mother and one of the twins.
