Review of Old Dogs (2009) by Deb S — 14 Aug 2010
John Travolta (Charlie) and Robin Williams (Dan) are two middle-aged co workers and buddies who are the perpetual playboys. Then Dan finds out he's got twins (one of whom is played by the real life daughter of John Travolta) with Kelly Preston after a shotgun quickie wedding 7 years ago. Dan agrees to become the guardian of his own kids whom he has never met, and Charlie agrees to help because he's someone who would stand by his friend and to help out where necessary.
But there is a problem: They are in the middle of a huge business deal ever with the Japanese and the kids are a huge distraction. One hilarious scene is when the kids mess up Dan and Charlie's medicine containers and the resulting chaos that ensue.
It is not a fantastic movie but it a fun one to watch with your family that will not fill your kids' ears with profanity and sexual innuendos.
