Review of Office Space (1999) by Andrew V — 04 Jan 2012
Office Space, As a fan of King of the Hill and Beavis and Butthead, I really wasn't aware of this movie until I was a little older. I have to say that I am glad that I saw this at a mature age because if I would have saw this movie when I was much younger I probably would have thought it was boring and probably would have never watched it again.
This is a real funny and entertaining movie. The characters, the simple plot, the perfect humor its all a good recipe to make a great movie. There are too many funny moments in this movie to count. Really the only flaws that I can point out in this movie is pretty much a minor complaint.
The computers are out of date and it makes the movie stand out as being looked at as a 90's flick. It's not a bad thing but it might be something that might keep some people from seeing this movie.
The film really knows how to show you how repetitive working in a cubical can become. Just watching all the little things that bug our main character is just comedy gold, especially once he starts not caring and doing what he wants, I was almost in tears laughing so hard.
Overall this movie is great, after seeing this movie and realizing how good it really is it makes me wonder why Mike Judge hasn't directed more movies after this? He should make a comeback cause this movie shows how funny the guy can be.
