Wow, Mike Judge can do live-action work of his own. Based off the animated "Milton" shorts, the film satirizes the typical workday at a software company during the 1990s, and focuses on three employees who work a software company named Initech who are fed up with their jobs and decide to plant a virus the rob the company bankrupt, only to cause a massive mishap, thus satirizing white collar crime elements.

The cult classic also has subplots, including employee Peter Gibbons (who is one of three employees, who are Michael Bolton (employee not related to the singer of the same name), and Samir Nagheenanajar) being in a relationship with diner worker Joanna, and Milton going through lots of changes in his desk, supplies, and thinking about setting the building on fire.

The depiction of IT workers is perfect, and real life IT workers can agree by quoting the entire film. Mike Judge writes a funny and smart script, and also brings the script to life thanks to his direction.

The film has different types of characters that are normal, bizarre, miserable, and plain mean, brought to life by great acting. The film has tons of sharp dialogue, one-liners, and quotability that creates tons of worthwhile laughs.

One of the funniest films ever made, and one of the smartest satires created.
