Review of Office Space (1992) by Brian C — 28 May 2012
Never tries too hard to be funny, and always succeeds. Comedy doesn't get much smarter and more side-splitting than this. Aside from the hilarity, the film also works as therapy; you don't need to have worked in an office, but if you've ever had a job you dreaded going into, a passive-aggressive boss you despised, and felt like work was taking your soul, you'll relate to this movie more than you would most slice-of-life dramas.
And the wish-fulfillment aspects that result from this idea are truly exhilarating. A true must-see that is worth watching multiple times and memorizing.
