Review of Office Space (1992) by James F — 14 Oct 2013
Office Space is so incredibly quotable, with uproarious dialogue throughout. The characters are very cartoony and over-the-top, and I suppose the only thing I didn't like about the movie is that it doesn't take much time to develop many of them to the fullest.
The main character, Peter, is interesting- at some times I completely hated him but then he would do something amazing and then instantly become a favorite. The best parts are easily the scenes with Mr.
Lumbergh, the guy with the red shtapler, and of course, the Michael Bolton jokes, which were hilarious. "Office Space", while a little bit rushed and disconnected at times, is a great "stick it to the man" movie and incredibly memorable.
Not to mention, the soundtrack is absolutely wondrous. This movie is great, in the way that it can be so funny the minor plot issues don't really matter. Also, what happened to Peter's girlfriend? Did I miss something?
