I was not going to see Office Christmas Party because the trailers just didn't do it for me like at all. However, my friends and I were born one Saturday night and we decided to see a movie. We couldn't really decide until we saw that this film was playing.

I had totally forgotten that this was even coming out, but we all wanted to laugh so we went and saw it. And that's what this movie is good for, really. Gather a bunch of friends on a slow night and just turn this movie on and just lose yourself in it's ridiculous ways.

It's stupid, ridiculous fun. The cast here is all great and they all look as though they're having a really fun time making the film. They're all very talented and they work off one another well.

The script definitely isn't very well written. Some of the gags are super cheap and cliche, and while I did laugh at some parts, some of the jokes didn't land for me. And for some reason, the movie plays it to safe at many parts.

They could've gone ALL out for most of the scenes but they seem pretty restrained for most of the time. If you're gonna have a movie like this, you need to go full on out and this one doesn't really.

It's good for a few laughs, just don't expect anything great. Good for a one time watch with some friends, but it won't be recommended for annual holiday viewings.
