Review of Office Christmas Party (2016) by Movie M — 20 Sep 2017

"Office Christmas Party" may be just another cheap christmas comedy movie, but it was one that I actually partially enjoyed. It did bring in a lot of A-list acting into the movie, which may have been a small reason as to why I had a more enjoyable experience with this movie than I should have, however, there also wasn't much that I hated about the jokes as well.

As wild and rude as this movie was, there definitely were some instances in it that had me laughing, but there were almost just as many moments that made me realize that this wasn't going to be a christmas comedy hit.

The cast of this movie was probably my favourite part, there weren't really any characters that I hated, and in a comedy movie, that can be hard to pull off, as there's always that one highly annoying character that the movie pushed way to hard on, but that wasn't the case here.

The movie does get a little repetitive after a while, as it's basically a wild party for the majority of the movie, so the plot does lack quite a bit to it to make a lasting impression. However, in terms of sheer comedy, there was enough to like in "Office Christmas Party" for me to say that it is worth watching if you're bored.
