Solid movie based off of an excellent book. I know I hate movies that are adapted from novels but sometimes they do manage to do a decent job. I really enjoyed this movie and thought Malkovich was outstanding as usual, even in his crappy movie he always finds a way to stand out.
Read the book then after you finish digesting that check out this movie.
