Reece H your english is atrocious more better jesus christ man. the film was outstanding, there doesn't need to be a great plot its not all about twists and action its about the friendship the two had and how the americans financial problems there affected alot of people.
especailly those of the working class working on the ranches. The whole idea behind the book was so steinbeck could teach society some lessons such as the importance of friendship and open peoples eyes to predjudice and rasicm amongst other things.
Your view on the ending all depends on which order you you see them in, mine changed but the ending is still emotional and I read the book first it did not let me down. And my final point is, it is very Grotowski based as in the simplicity of the piece no giant specail affects and keeps it very simple but really goes for the emotional in depth meaning of the book.
p.s the director Gary Sinise did a great job in potraying steinbecks through this film!!
