"Of Gods and Men" is a deeply profound and thoughtful film that ask moviegoers what would they do if they were in the same position the monks were in. Everyone of the French cast members have individual moments to shine, but Lambert Wilson truly delivers a stand-out performance as Christian.
Though they could have trimmed the pacing of the film, it is still worth it to watch. It is a shame it was not nominated for an Oscar in the Best Foreign Language category.
