Humbling and moving but tends to progress slowly.
I actually had enough of religious films having the same plot that commonly tackles their conflicts with each other. In Of Gods and Men, itâ(TM)s refreshing to see how they compromise faith, and Iâ(TM)m happy that itâ(TM)s not all about the extremists this time (or is it?).
There were just these moments that while I find it beautiful, looking into the whole picture would placed it as quite unnecessary to be shown. I personally think that without those scenes it would perfectly fit as a short film.
