Review of Odds Against Tomorrow (1959) by Jacob O — 31 Mar 2011
Odds Against Tomorrow explores the potent themes of racism in what seems at first a usual bank robbery, with some great performances from Robert Ryan, Harry Belafonte and the marvellously sneaky-looking Ed Begley.
While it gets a little over the top towards the end, the film looks great, with its gritty direction and intriguing New York locations.
