Review of Odd Girl Out (2005) by Jorrit B — 02 Jul 2009
Odd Girl Out is a captivating story about fitting in and being bullied in the most brutal ways possible.
It's about losing friends but also about realising which people who are really meant for you. It's also about a mother who does everything to save her daughter's life but still has a hard time understanding until it's all put just in front of you.
This is a movie that will make you cry so much so there won't be any tears left to cry out in the end. It's easy to relate to but still painful to watch.
It will stay with you for an eternity and forever remind you just who you are and how much you're prepared to fight for friendship and change yourself so the people who aren't at all worth it can laugh even more.
I've never seen a movie quite like it, but nevertheless it's a beautiful story about the transition from weak to strong in a nanosecond.
