People only don't find this movie scary or good because it's categorized as a horror movie, and there are hardly any jump scares or loud noises. This movie isn't perfect, but the events that take place are terrifying, but it doesn't rely on stupid and cliche cheesy horror effects either.
I recommend this movie to people with real respect of movies and horror.
