Review of Oculus (2014) by Brian C — 13 Sep 2014
This film is probably the worst modern-day horror movies I ahve seen in quite some time.
I was recommended this flick by a couple of different people, and so me and roommates decided to get struck by awe and fear of the events that transgress in this film.
But to be honest? I really can't tell you what exactly happened, and that is probably the point.
Most of the movie is supposed to be a "Psychological Twist", with quotation to emphasize how badly they missed the queue on that aspect.
It is a movie in which it tries to show us horrific events, that are not actually happening... and that is that. That is the entire two hour flick.
Cheesy effects, Cheesy story, and little to no back story or budget.
If I would make any suggestion? It would be to stay far away from this film, that is not fit enough to be directed by a college freshman.
