Review of Oculus (2014) by Olli H — 08 Mar 2016
While being very low-key horror, "Oculus" was nicely complex so that you really had to pay attention while watching it. The scares a minimal though and once you see the monster, it loses it's fear factor but the ending, which wasn't the usual cliché (beat-the-monster-and-now-sun-shines-again-and-end-twist) horror movie ending, was a nice touch.
It lingers on your mind a while, it really does.
