Review of Octopussy (1983) by Christopher F — 06 Mar 2009
One of the most purely mediocre entries in the franchise. The story, villain, and girl are all so dull. The film is also bursting at the seams with camp, and all of it is groan inducing. There is so much of it, that I'm not going to go into detail.
The action is also so unentertaining that it fails to save the film. However, I will note that every Moore film seems to have an impressive stunt, and this film's was the fight on top of the plane.
Great stuff, but that's the only highlight. Definitely on the lower end of the Bond movie spectrum.
