Review of Octopussy (1983) by Kevin H — 06 Apr 2009
Octopussy is an excellent Bond film and thankfully breaks the Moore tradition of one good and one bad movie. With a story that moves at a breakneck pace and a great villain in Louis Jordan's Kamal Khan, Octopussy again sees Bond returning to his roots.
Maud Adams as Octopussy is a hot Bond girl as is Kristina Wayborn as Magda. Some great scenes in this one include a harrowing fight on top of a train and an intense bit as Bond tries to defuse a bomb.
Great entertainment.
