Review of Octopussy (1983) by E L — 19 Jul 2012
Great title for a below average James Bond film. While this film has great visuals and some good action sequences, the pace is very slow for a James Bond film and the title character(Maud Adams) has chemistry with Moore(as they appeared in The Man with the Golden Gun.
) but her character does not make her a great Bond babe. The film has humor in the right spots and it's not as OTT as Moonraker was, it take awhile for this film to kick into high gear and when it does it's a lot of fun in spite of itself.
Put the brain on nuetral and enjoy cause when the credits roll Bond will be back in A View to a Kill that is when the series hit it's low point.
