Review of Octopussy (1983) by Jose M — 29 Mar 2013
"Britain huh? You know what I like about you Brits, Octopussy! Man I must have seen that movie twice. All I wanted was a sweet distraction for an hour or two" Start singing the song "All Time High" by Rita Coolidge in front a booing crowd.
Octopussy is based on Ian Fleming's Octopussy and the Living Daylights. A title like that is guarantees a winner. It has its ups and downs, but I like the film overall thanks to Roger Moore's charm and wittiness, and not to mention the most laughable vehicle ever: the alligator-submarine.
