Review of Octopussy (1983) by Butterz B — 10 Nov 2009

I had never seen this Bond film before because the title was so stupid I couldn't imagine that the film could be any good, especially after the outrageous mess that Moonraker was. But I'm going through the Bond films in order, so I had to do it.

And... surprise! It's good. For a pleasant change there is no massive secret lair or ludicrious plot to destroy the world by turning the seas into Jell-O or some such nonsense. Just a good old fashioned action movie with cool chases, good fun and relatively believable action.

Unfortunately, A View to a Kill is next.
