Review of Octopussy (1983) by James W — 29 Jun 2013
Ohhh, someone's getting old, Moore is ageing a bit now but that doesn't mean he's lost the Bond charm and wit. There are some good thrills in Octopussy including the opening jet scene, the chase through the streets in a Tuk-Tuk and the climax onboard the bad guys plane, but this Bond adventure doesn't have the pace and excitement that the previous films had.
I think the best aspect of this film is the characters who are superbly acted. There's one thing in common all Bond movies have and that is the acting, it's always great.
