Review of Octopussy (1983) by Edward B — 13 Jan 2008
Hmmmm.... the movie actually got serious for a minute, then we saw a car drive on its' side and on railway tracks..... even during the seemingly impossible finale stunts, Roger Moore coasted through the scene as an invincible superhero.
This film had more one-liners than any in the franchise, and is renowned as "one of the goofier" Bond films.... Circus freaks aside, this definitely was a fun romp from a time when Bond became more a satire of himself than himself.
For the die hard fans, and possibly the "funniest" of all Bond films.
