Review of Octopussy (1983) by Pooya K — 28 May 2008
A very entertaining James Bond movie that does not take itself too seriously. Some people forget that James Bond is indeed a type of fantasy. However, this film still tries to anchor itself in some sort of reality as opposed to other films (Moonraker anybody?).
Louis Jordan gives a great performance as Kamal Khan and the train scene is very exciting. I think Roger Moore should have called it quits after this film.
