Review of October Sky (1999) by Eleonora E — 01 Feb 2009
A truly inspirational story about perseverence and the relationship between a disapproving father and his son. The acting from all the cast is superb: Cooper is wonderful in his role, really showing the multilayered nature of the father.
Johnston does an amazing job in painting the life of this boy whose future is guaranteed in the coal mine, and how he fights like hell to break free from it. Something we can all relate to.
