Review of October Sky (1999) by Mikhel A — 25 May 2011
A sickening adaptation of a beloved novel. The triumphs of the original novel were lost to the attempt at tugging at the heartstrings. Tragic, because I know many people loved the film yet, missed out on the true greatness of the story.
Furthermore the story pacing played out as a mishmash of scenes. Even the talent couldn't save the film for me.
