Review of October Baby (2011) by Roland M — 25 Mar 2012
Excellent movie! Though the storyline revolves around a young woman's emotional - and literal - trek following her discovery that she was actually the survivor of a botched abortion, the film touches on multiple relational issues that nearly every parent or teen/young adult has experienced.
Its an emotion-laden film (so bring some Kleenex!) but one that exemplifies the power of love and forgiveness to heal the deepest of wounds we may carry within us. I highly recommend it! (By the way, any reviewer who says this movie is judgmental or condescending toward anyone clearly didn't see this same movie!).
