Review of October Baby (2011) by Zack L — 27 Mar 2012
Wonderfully made movie. The people who will bash it, will have already hardened their hearts to the messge behind it, and try to smear the honest and distrubing truth: abortion is wrong. This movie is not for the faint of heart.
It is very heavy, yet very surreal. Not too preachy, but it tells a story with a pureness you can't find in most Hollywood movies. I never have read the Hunger Games, nor have I watched the movie, but I can already tell you I would like October Baby over it.
Yes, movies are to entertain, but when one like October Baby comes along, not only does it bring entertainment, but it brings truth, and more importantly hope. Hope for the ones who have done an abortion, and hope for the ones who survived one.
Powerful movie, that I would recommend any one, Christian/Non-Christian, pro-life or pro-choice, should go see.
