Review of Ocean's Thirteen (2007) by Jason P — 09 Apr 2012
Okay you wanna try it a third time? Lets see, 1st time around everyone thought "like wow, look at all these actors in one film, it has to be great." You wouldn't admit it was only an average film.
The 2nd time around, everyone was complaining its too confusing. "I dont understand. Dont make my brain hurt." So what does Hollywood do? They listen. The script has to be one of the most unoriginal, straight-forward, "my six year old can figure out whats gonna happen before he loses interest" storylines in a long time.
What difference does this make? We still went to watch it and it still will make 175+ million at the domestic Box Office. Eddie Izzard was completely underutilized. Al Pacino was a characture of himself.
Matt Damon and his nose? Is that whats considered comedy nowadays? What has hapened to the talented writers?
