Review of Ocean's Eleven (2001) by Private U — 02 Oct 2013
A fast-paced and surprisingly humourous remake of a Rat Pack classic has become one of the great heist films of it's generation, thanks mainly to the direction of Steven Soderbergh, and the help of a stellar cast that includes the likes of George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, Don Cheadle and Casey Affleck.
It's quick on it's feet, and a real crowd-pleaser, and while many films have since tried to imitate it, it still remains head and shoulders above it's peers (including the 2 sequels).
