Review of Ocean's Eight (2018) by Rachel A — 11 Jun 2018
Loved this! I was afraid that it was going to be an "Ocean's Lite" type film, recreating what had already been done just with women instead of men. I was pleasantly surprised. They changed enough about the characters and plot that it stood as its own film, but the soundtrack and camera angles made it feel familiar, like coming home.
I loved the Clooney trilogy, and I'm hopeful for a Bullock trilogy, not a standalone.
