Review of Ocean's Eight (2018) by Drew B — 12 Jun 2018
I truly don't understand why 49% of the audience din't like it. Then again, I don't get why 49% of the voters went for Trump. Maybe it's the same d-bag geeks who whizzed on the all-female Ghostbusters.
When you break it down, it's a reboot that kicks ass, with a combined 4 Oscars, 7 Golden Globes, 3 Emmys, and 9 Grammys, the resumes these ladies bring to the table are even better than the men of 12, 13, and 14.
Basically, they are stealing a multi-million-dollar Cartier diamond necklace from the Met Gala. Twists and turns ensue. Plenty of laughs. Since Sandra Bullock play Danny Ocean's sister, Danny is mentioned.
Is he dead? Well, I'm not so sure. What I am sure about is it's a rip-roaring good time.
