To be honest, I was prepared to go into this movie and only like it because of the cast. boy, I was surprised! while playing carefully to the formula and expectations of this genre of movie, Ocean's 8 goes rather above and beyond.
the casting is exemplary, costuming completely hits the mark, and the acting? with this cast, it's even better than expected. while it does, sometimes, understate itself and present possibly the easiest of solutions, this addition to the Ocean's collection is utterly necessary - if only for showing a female audience that their position is a strong one, too.
this movie leaves the audience humming and buzzing! definitely reccommend.
