Ocean's 8 isn't a terrible movie, it just really isn't anything special. It doesn't do anything for the franchise as a whole and considering the paper-thin lines it tries to connect to our favorite robbers the movie really should have just been called "The Female Heist" or something alone those lines.
It's clear the entire intent of the movie was the create an all-girl Ocean's movie, which it does fantastically, but the plot is subpar compared to the adventures we've gone on in the past.
That plus a twist you can see coming a mile away makes for a lackluster movie. Again, it's not terrible, you just won't find much here.
